I just went back to work today having about 36 hours of notice after day drinking for two months. Good thing I dont like to be capital D drunk nor stay up late. Yesterday was a little stressful just worried about "drying out" but thankfully was np, and I had a great day today. Twisting a couple tonight ;/

Hear hear! I mean I do have to drive a couple of hours this weekend to take my wife and her sister up to their recently deceased grandmother’s house to go through things but it’s a nice drive up to north Idaho and it should be kind of nice to get out on the road.

Tomorrow I get to go to sing at Mass for the first time since March. I never thought I’d miss going to church, but I miss it so much. To be able to bring people some comfort and stability during this time, is awe inspiring. I hope not to fuck up. God Bless.

This weekend and next week is gonna be busy for me.

I’m going to be picking up a couple of out-of-production emergency lightbars (Code 3 MX7000) from a local seller, and then seeing the vision clinic to get an updated exam/prescription on my driving glasses and sunglasses, then a visit to the local health clinic for the Ear-Nose-Throat doctor to figure out a treatment plan for my chronic throat problems (and maybe get a Covid19 swab test in the process), and then off to the body shop to get the driver side hinge pins on my door replaced.

And then I can relax.

And now I can’t relax this weekend. The chaos that’s going on in Seattle has a small chance of spreading to Everett. We have some very special problems regarding our Sheriff that could be a flashpoint, and that makes me very, very worried.
